Admin History | The Wilder family have been landholders in Sulham since the early 15th century. In 1632 they purchased the manor of Nunhide, in 1712 the manor of Sulham, and in 1773 the manor of Hyde Hall. The documents relating to lands in Shiplake, Oxfordshire, and in Warwickshire, appear to have come into the hands of the family by way of the marriage of John Wilder and Beaufoy Boyle, whose mother's family were connected by marriage to the Beaufoy family of Milverton, Warwickshire. |
