Admin HistoryReading Festival Chorus is an amateur mixed choir based in Reading performing predominantly classical and sacred works. The choir was established in 1945 and since the town was twinned with Düsseldorf in 1975, as part of the Reading- Düsseldorf Association (see D/EX1485 for records of the Association), they have performed regularly alongside their German counterparts. The choir is highly regarded, performing alongside professional and amateur musicians and soloists, and attracted accomplished musical directors, including Gregory Rose and Jonathan Grieves Smith.
