TitleProgrammes and schedules.
Description[The earliest programme to survive is that of the seventh 'Annual Exhibition' in 1898. There was no exhibition in 1917 or 1918, or between 1940 and 1949. Programmes up to 1951 contain the society's rules and regulations, schedules of classes and prizes (with winners' names sometimes added by hand after 1924), the annual report, statement of accounts and list of subscribers for the previous year, and numerous advertisements for horticultural products. From 1952, programmes have schedules of classes, lists of members and (up to 1987) an index of competitors, but no annual reports or financial statements. From 1952 also, a separate schedules and regulations book was issued (with winners' names added up to 1955).]
