| Description | [The Lambrook school magazine, the Lambrook Chronicle, was published each December and distributed both to families of pupils and to Old Boys of the school. Beginning with an 'editorial' from the headmaster, setting out major events in the previous school year, the Chronicle followed much the same format throughout its years of publication. This included a section on the chapel and reports from sports teams and school clubs, as well as contributions from the pupils themselves.
During the war years, the Lambrook Chronicle followed the service histories of its Old Boys, each volume containing a Roll of Honour and any relevant obituaries.
The first Lambrook Chronicle was published in 1909, the last in 1997, the year in which the school merged with Haileybury School. The series represented here is complete.
In 1999 the magazine was relaunched on an annual basis. The old Lambrook Chronicle name was revived in 2010. From 2017 the Chronicle was published biannually.] |
