Admin History | George Frederick Slade entered private practice as a solicitor in the Market Place, Wallingford, sometime between 1877 and 1883. Between 1903 and 1907 he took [his son] Percival Claude Avery Slade into partnership. Between 1915 and 1920 they moved to new premises at 7 St Martin's Street.
Between 1928 and 1931 the firm's name was changed to Slade & Son, apparently when George retired or died. A second office was opened at 128 Broadway, Didcot, between 1931 and 1935. The firm eventually became Slade, Son & Taylor. |
