Admin History | These are records of closed branches.
Minutes of members' meetings, as distinct from those of committee meetings, are a record of gatherings open to all members in a fairly informal setting, including a talk and social activities. Membership rolls, attendance lists and secretaries' reports to annual meetings are often found among them. Account books often include subscription records.
Groups of neighbouring branches held their own committee and biennial members' meetings. Their records sometimes supplement those of individual branches: eg Wraysbury branch (D/EX1925/73) also appears in Swan Group (D/EX1925/60); and Burchetts Green, for which there are no branch records, appears in Littlewick Group (D/EX1925/79.)
For practical reasons several branches of the Berkshire Federation were from neighbouring counties, mainly Hampshire.
