Admin History | The Sunningdale & District Gardening Association (SADGA) was founded c.1889. The association was originally established for professional gardeners who managed the gardens of local houses in the area but later became open to professional and amateur gardeners alike. The main aim of the association was the promotion and advancement of the science and practice of Horticulture. The association hosted various guest lectures, trips, an annual quiz, and attended the triannual Ascot Horticultural Shows. After 129 years, the SADGA dissolved in December 2018. |
