Admin HistoryThe circuit was formed in September 1982, when the former Silchester circuit was absorbed into Reading circuit. Certain of the records of the latter continued under the revised name, until volumes were filled. The circuit merged with Basingstoke (records at Hampshire Record Office) in 2014 to form the new Basingstoke and Reading Circuit (D/MC21). The headquarters remained in Reading.
