Admin History | Emmanuel was formed in December 1996 by the amalgamation of Oxford Road (D/MS 1) and West Reading (D/MS 61) Methodist Churches. It met initially in the West Reading premises (formerly Elm Park Hall; see also D/MS 56), which were demolished in 2002.
The church then met in temporary premises at Battle Hospital pending the building of a new church as part of a redevelopment of the hospital site. The new church opened in 2005. |
