Admin HistoryThe Wesleyans began open-air meetings in Tilehurst in 1861. Worship took place in, successively, a cottage, a coachhouse and (from 1884) an iron Mission Hall.

A new church was built in 1904-1905. There was a major revival, 1939-1945.
