Admin HistoryThe Council was established in 1944 to promote unity and fellowship between the Evangelical Free Churches of Maidenhead and district.

Constituent churches in 1944 were the Baptist churches at Marlow Road, Maidenhead, and Boyn Hill, Maidenhead Congregational Church (D/N 33), the Society of Friends, High Street, Queen Street and Burberry Hall Methodist Churches (D/MS 10,11 and 48), and the Salvation Army.
