Admin HistoryHOME was set up largely at the instigation of the Reverend Graham Davidson, a curate of Maidenhead St Luke in 1971/1972. The main aim of the charity was to provide a local hostel for the homeless; however, this encountered planning difficulties which could not be overcome, and the charity became dormant. In the mid 1980s its accumulated funds were transferred to another organisation to fund a half-way house for the mentally disabled.
