| Description | The Parliamentary Committee sought to oversee the safeguarding of the rights and interests of the organisation when opposed to the promotion of new Parliamentary Bills that affected the work of the Conservators. The committee also oversaw work on amendments and draft Bills, including several Thames Conservancy Bills which passed and gained Royal Assent as Acts. The committee was constituted in 1909. |
