Very detailed coloured plan of Earley common field and meadow, about 423 acres bounded by the River Thames, Earley Court, [Redlands, Woodley, and the ancient boundary of Reading Abbey]. Divided into strips with names of owners and acreage of each strip. Names the common fields, but does not clearly show boundaries. Shows River Thames (north-western boundary), roads (the Wokingham High Way and London High Way) and other lesser roads. Shows Erleigh (spelt Earligh) Court in elevation. Includes key to colour-coding of strips showing owners of land and of tithes. Compass rose. Damaged at top left.
