Description | [John Blandy (1759-1821) was a Reading lawyer, the first of his family to join the practice later known as Blandy & Blandy. He married Mary Jackson in 1791, and they had four sons, John Jackson, William Jackson, Charles Jackson and Francis Jackson. His eldest son, John Jackson Blandy (1798-1866) followed him into the law, and was town clerk and coroner of Reading from 1833.
