Description(The messuages were divided into four messuages by 1727, pulled down in 1741 and replaced by a new messuage. Property conveyed includes a second, adjoining, messuage from 1695. From 1695 to 1739 it includes a messuage on the north side of Castle Street, a messuage on the north side of Flax Lane (later Back Street) and two mesuages near the Market Place, all in Reading; and from 1732 to 1739 it includes three messuages and adjacent piece of meadow ground on the east side of Cheap Street, Newbury. Bundle includes Jemmatt family settlement made by Thomas Jemmatt of Reading, gentleman, 1695.)
