| Description | The following plans relate to the applications in the registers of building control plans and the original application numbers have been retained. The series covers the dates 1880-1948 although some of the plans have not survived and this is indicated in the description. The series includes plans relating to new housing, new street and drainage, alterations and improvments to residential properties, churches, public houses and schools, the development of the Slough Trading Estate and building work relating to World War Two. Drainage plans from 1897-1921 can also be found in S/SB/4 and plans for signs from 1928-1945 can be found in S/SB/3.
Plans for drainage do not generally have a surveyor's name associated with them. |
